TEHRAN- Head of Iran's National Carpet Center Mohammad Baqer Aqa Alikhani said Iran is working to find new markets for its hand-woven carpets to boost its export revenues in this industry to one billion dollars.
Speaking to Fars New Agency in Iran's Western city of Kermanshah, Aqa Alikhani reminded that Iran is the leading country in export of hand-woven carpets, and said the Iranian government plans to increase the country's carpet exports to one billion dollars this Iranian year (started on March 20).
