Q: How do you ship the Persian rugs & shipping costs?
A: Shipping is FREE in the U.S.A. Please note that we will not pay for return shipping charges. We use UPS Ground Service for shipping. For more information about shipping please check OLDCARPET Shipping Information.
Q What will happen after I order?
A: You will receive a confirmation email from OLDCARPET. If you order before 10 AM (Pacific Time) your rug will be ship same day at 2:00 PM and you will receive a UPS tracking at 4:00 PM (Pacific Time). If we receive your order after 2:00 PM, your rug will be ship in the next 24 hours.

A: Our philosophy has been to buy good quality handmade Persian rugs directly from the source and offer them at the lowest price. This has resulted in a long list of loyal customers. OLDCARPET offers quality Persian rugs at a low price due to the relationship among rug-makers, distributors, and exporters that we established. We collect quality rugs from the source first hand with no middleman and then we keep our overhead to a minimum at all time. That is how we have sold more than 100,000 Persian rugs.
Q: I am outside of the U.S.A , How can I buy Persian rugs from OLDCARPET?
A: After selecting the rugs, please contact us by email at: email@example.com We should have the following information:
- Full name,
- Full physical address, city, state, zip code, country. and
- Working phone number with country code.
After informing the customer about the total cost of the rugs, shipping, and insurance; OLDCARPET will provide a business bank account number, for deposit of the total cost (rugs, shipping & handling, and insurance). Persian rugs will be shipping in 48 hours or less after the fund deposit (U.S. dollars money transfer only.) All Persian rugs will be fully insured to the client’s destination.
The following documents will be emailed to the client’s right after shipping:
1. Proof of Purchase (Paid Invoice)
2. International Fright Documentation.
3. UPS or FedEx Tracking with Insurance.
We are not able to accept any return for the rugs sold outside of the United States. All sales are final for overseas customers. Clients are responsible for customs duty rates and clearances in the destination country.
Q: There is a dark line across the rug, is it a stain?
A:No, some of the Persian rugs have been folded for a long time and the bent fibers reflect light at a different angle that looks darker. This is only temporary and will be returned to normal with use after a while.
