IRAN Land of Persian Rugs The Northwest region of IRAN has one of the most popular, historical selections of Persian carpets. This region produces one of the best hand-woven quality carpets. AHAR, ARDABIL, HERIZ, KARAJA, MAHABAD, MESHKIN, SERAB(SARAB), SOUMAK, TABRIZ, ZANJAN The northeast region of IRAN has a long history in Persian carpets. This region produces one of the best quality carpets. This a list of all the cities that we represent in at this time: MASHAD, NEYSHAPOUR(NEYSHABUR), QUOCHAN, SABZEVAR There are lots of unique patterns of carpets made in the northern region of IRAN. KELARDASHT, BANDAR TURKAMEN,ROUDBAR,QAZVIN are the most famous cities in this region. The western region of IRAN has a cultural history of producing Persian carpets. The few of reputable cities of this region are: BIJAR, HAMEDAN, KERMAN-SHAH(BAKHTARAN), KHAMSEH, MALAYER, MAZLAGHAN, NAHAVAND, SANANDAJ(Senneh), VISS(WISS) The Central region of IRAN is the main section of Persian carpet industry. TEHRAN is the capital city of IRAN and its famous Bazaar is the center for marketing Persian carpets. This a list of all the cities that we represnt in at this time: ARAK(SULTANABAD), FARAHAN, ISFAHAN, KASHAN, LILIHAN(LYLYAN), MAHAL, MEIMEH(MEYMEH), NAIN, NAJAFABAD, QOM, SAROUK, SAVEH(SHASAVAN), SEMNAN, TAFRESH, TEHRAN, VARAMIN, VISS(WISS), YALAMEH The eastern region of IRAN has few residential cities due to existence of a huge desert(KAVIR). This region produces mostly Tribal carpets.This a list of all the cities that we represent at this time: BIRJAND, KASHMAR, MOUD(MOOD), TABAS(TABASS) The southwest region of IRAN is popular for its tribal people. The majority of these tribes such as LURI(LORI) and BAKHTIARI who lives in the Zagros Mountains and surroundings produce beautiful rugs and carpets. Southwestern IRAN is rich on Oil, history and artistic monuments.This a list of all the cities and tribes that we represent in at this time: BAKHTIARI, LURI(LORI), MOUSEL The southern section of IRAN has long history in Persian rugs and carpets. There are famous cities such as YAZD, ABADEH and SHIRAZ. This a list of all the cities that we represent in at this time: ABADEH, GABBEH, QASHQAI, NIRIZ(NEYRIZ), SHIRAZ, YAZD The Southeast region of IRAN is known for its authenticity of the quality of its carpets.KERMAN is one of the most reputable cities that produces one of the most attractive designed carpets.
