1) Is sales tax included in my purchase?
A. Yes, There is no sales tax for any rug purchased from OLDCARPET, We only charge 7.75% sales tax for purchases with the shipping address in the state of California.

2) Do you ship outside of the U.S. or Canada?
A: Yes, we have specific shipping instructions for international customers. Please follow these instructions:
1- Please select any rug that you like to purchase.
2- Provide the following information:
• Full name(First Name/ Last Name)
• Full address, city, state, zip code, country, (NO P.O. Box)
• Phone number with full country code.
3- Please send us an email (info@oldcarpet.com) with all the above information.
We will provide you with a complete information about the shipping cost of the rug to your destination in 24 hours.

3) How much will I have to pay for shipping?
A: If you live in the U.S. or Canada the shipping is FREE, except for the following states in the U.S.:
• Alaska
• Hawaii
• Guam
• Puerto Rico
• US Virgin Islands

4) How long does it take to receive my rug?
A: If you are within the U.S. and Canada you should have your rugs in 4-6 business days.

5) How do I check the status of my order?
A: After your order is shipped, we will send you a UPS tracking number. You will also receive a UPS link which it shows your order status.

6) Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?
A: We do NOT ship any rugs to P.O. Box addresses.

7) Do you ship to APO addresses?
Yes, we can ship your rug to APO addresses. APO addresses are considered international shipping and the shipping cost may vary due to the weight and destination of the package. You will receive an email about the shipping cost.

8) My credit billing address is a P.O. Box, what should I do about shipping?
If you use a P.O. Box as your main credit card billing address, call your credit card company and have them include your home address as a secondary address for the card. We ship only to the billing address on your credit card (please verify your billing address before placing your order for faster service).

9) What if I’m not satisfied with the rug I have purchased?
A: If for any reason you're not 100% satisfied with your purchase, return it for a full refund or exchange. OLDCARPET stands behind every product they sell.
1- The customer has 30 days to exchange the rug for another rug of greater or equal value.
2- The customer has 14 days upon receipt to return the rug for a full refund.
3- All items that are returned or exchanged must be sent back in their original condition.
4. In the event of an exchange of any rug, customer is responsible for shipping cost back to our warehouse.
5-We do not provide any refunds if the rugs damaged or soiled while in the clients’ possession.
6-If the rug is returned for a refund then the initial shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.

10) When do you not accept a rug for return or exchange?
A: We do not accept any stained or damaged rugs.
OLDCARPET is well known for its customer’s satisfaction in the Persian rug industry. We are 100% behind our products and clients.
We are not able to accept any returns for rugs sold to customers outside of the United States. All international sales are final. Clients are responsible for customs duty rates and clearances in the destination country.

12) When my rug arrives, do I have to be present to sign for the delivery?
A: Usually there is a signature requirement for the delivery. However, we can arrange for you to pick up your rug at your local UPS center, if you contact us prior that we ship your rug.

13) Am I responsible for shipping back the rug?
A: If the rug is returned for a refund, the customer is responsible for shipping fee both ways. (No drop-offs)

14) After the rug is returned, how quickly will I receive my refund?
A: You will usually have your refund within 48 hours, after we receive the rug in our warehouse in California. You have to provide us with a shipping tracking number for the item.

15) If I un-wrap my rug and find folds or creases, how can I get rid of them?
During shipping some rugs may curl along the edges, or show creases where they have been folded for shipping. One solution to fixing this problem is to place a heavy, flat object, on the curled edges for a few days. Creases are easily released by allowing regular foot traffic over your rug.
